Welcome to the Central Florida Fruit Society

Our club was established in 1991 as the Tropical Fruit Club of Central Florida and has been meeting continuously for almost 30 years.

We are an organization for anyone interested in learning about and growing all types of tropical and subtropical fruit. Members range in age from kids to senior and grow common fruits such as avocados, citrus, mangos, guava, and papaya, as well as rare and exotic fruiting plants such as jaboticaba, lychees, grumichama, miracle fruit, sugar apple and MUCH MORE.

If you’ve ever considered growing your own fruit in your own back yard, this is the place to be!

Our monthly in person activities usually include:

Guest speaker – an expert on growing particular types of plants, or other related topic.

Tasting table – Want to know what a particular rare fruit tastes like? Maybe you can find it and try it from our tasting table.

Raffle (plants, fruits, etc.) – an easy way to add unusual starter plants to your collection. Many to choose from every month.
