How do I contact CFFS?
The best way to contact CFFS is through the email

centralfloridafruitsociety@gmail.com

This email is read by all the elected officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer) and other members of the board.  Emails will get routed to the appropriate person.  Submissions for social media (newsletter, Facebook group, Instagram) can also be sent to this address.  Please mark any submission with your intended target in the subject or body of the message.

How do I pay for things?
In general, we accept payment via Paypal, Zelle, credit card, check, and cash.
Detailed information can be found here : (link)

Please note that we cannot consider a payment made until we can verify receipt.  For Paypal or Zelle, one of the board members, usually the Treasurer, must see the electronic notification from the payment processor.  This means for Paypal, Credit Card, or Zelle, the electronic notification must be received.  For check, the check must be received by the club’s Treasurer.  For large checks, it may be necessary to wait to ensure payment has been deposited in the club’s account.  Cash requires physical receipt by the club’s Treasurer.

Because payment must be verified, it may not be possible to accept all forms of payment for all activities.  For example, checks are not usually accepted for the plant order because the deadline for the order does not allow enough time to receive a check by mail and then deposit it.

Activities that require form sign up such as field trips or membership renewal are not considered complete until both the form sign up and payment are received.  Please email any questions about sign up or payment to

centralfloridafruitsociety@gmail.com

Where and when are meetings?
January through November, our monthly meeting happens on the third Monday of the month.  Meetings start at 7pm with a 30 minute social at 6:30pm.  During the social, members are encouraged to taste goodies at the tasting table, catch up with other members, buy raffle tickets, handle membership business, and generally mingle.

Meetings are held in the Camelia Room at Leu Gardens.  Leu Gardens is at

We do not meet in December but instead hold a holiday party.  The date and exact location is usually announced in October.  Unlike monthly meetings, which are open to the public, the holiday party is only open to members of the club.

How is the club run?
The club is governed by a set of bylaws (here) and operated by a board of volunteers.  Four of the board are elected officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer) and the rest of the board are appointed members.  Please direct any further questions to centralfloridafruitsociety@gmail.com.

How can I help the club?
One of the most significant ways to help the club is by volunteering time or expertise.  The club has multiple events throughout the year with opportunities for volunteering, including plant sales in the spring, mango tango in June, the annual holiday party in December, raffle and tasting tables at every monthly meeting, ongoing plant care for club owned plants and much more.  Please consider volunteering to help keep our club able to run engaging programming and fun events!

Field Trips offer tours of local nurseries, members gardens/food forests, u-pick orchards and much more.
